Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, creating fair conditions in many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.
Winds will be easterly to southeasterly moderate to brisk at times, blowing dust in the eastern and southern regions, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 22 degrees Celsius, in the northern cities 25 degrees, and the southern cities 19 degrees, dropping down to 11, 10 and 8 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 32 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 20 degrees at night.
A further rise in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday. Therefore, moderate conditions will prevail in many areas of the country, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with easterly to southeasterly moderate winds picking up at times and raising dust mainly in the southern and eastern regions, the department noted.
