The killer of the retired general fled the scene after committing his crime, but he was shortly arrested by a special joint investigation team from the PSD and General Intelligent Department (GID) . "The murder confessed to his crime, saying he had planned it a while ago, believing that Hanayneh was behind his arrest in Russia in 2005, and caused him trouble at his work," the spokesman added. The killer will be referred to the competent judicial authorities for further investigation, the spokesman added.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The murderer of retired Intelligence Major General, Habis Hanayneh, who was shot yesterday in front of his under-construction house in Madaba Governorate, was arrested, a Public Security Department (PSD) spokesman announced .
