Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Jordan's Minister of Energy Hala Zwati in the in the West Bank city of Ramallah, in the presence of head of Jordan's representation Office to Palestine Mohammed Shabib Abu Windi and the Director General of the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) Amjad Rawashdeh.

The meeting focused on boosting Jordanian-Palestinian relations in the field of energy and the agreements signed to increase energy supply from Jordan to Palestine.

President Abbas praised the brotherly relations between the Palestinian and Jordanian peoples and praised the agreement signed to develop the energy sector in both countries.

He also affirmed the importance of exchanging expertise and coordination between the two sides.
