Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is forecast for Sunday, bringing moderate conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the desert regions and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, with clouds at various altitudes, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in the capital will reach 30 degrees Celsius, while registering 29 in the northern and southern cities, dropping down at night to 19, 18 and 15 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 38 degrees and lows standing at 26, the JMD added.
Over the next 72 hours, similar moderate temperatures will continue to prevail with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
