Summer conditions forecast through Thursday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively hot conditions are expected to prevail Tuesday in the hilly areas, while it will be hot and dry in other parts of the Kingdom with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 35 degrees Celsius, in the northern cities 34 and 33 in the southern parts of the Kingdom, dropping down at night to 23, 20 and19 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 29, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Wednesday to become around their seasonal average, bringing normal summer conditions across many parts of the Kingdom, while it will remain hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
Temperatures will further on Thursday, creating moderate conditions in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in other regions, with
northwesterly moderate winds picking up at times, the JMD added.
