Hot spell continues, as temps forecast to remain on thirties

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Monday are expected to rise 4-5 degrees above seasonal average, creating relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas, while it will be hot and dry in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at high altitudes are also forecast mainly in the southern regions with northeasterly northwesterly moderate winds.
Daytime temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach 36 degrees Celsius dropping down at night to 23, while mercury levels in the northern and southern cities will range between a high of 31 and a low of 21. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 39 degrees and lows standing at 29, the JMD said further.
A slight in mercury levels are expected over the next two days, but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail with westerly to northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
