The meeting came at the request of Commissioner-General Pierre Krahenbuhl, said Sami Mshasha, UNRWA's official spokesman in Arabic, on Wednesday. In light of the meeting, the commissioner-general will make his decision in connection to the beginning of the scholastic year at the UNRWA schools. In response to a question from "Petra," on the location of the meeting, Mshasha said the discussions are scheduled to take place via teleconferencing, and not in one hall or place.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Advisory Committee of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) will hold an extraordinary meeting with donors and host countries on Thursday to discuss the agency's critical financial situation.
