Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Labour Minister Samir Murad flew to Qatar on Monday on a two-day working visit to follow up on Doha's pledges to provide jobs to Jordanian nationals as part of an economic assistance package to the Kingdom.
Earlier in June, the Gulf Arab state pledged to offer 10,000 job opportunities to Jordanians in Doha and to provide $500 million in investment projects to support the Jordan's infrastructure and development projects.
"This visit comes upon the generous invitation of the Qatari government and was extended by the Charge d'Affaires of the Qatari embassy in Amman Abdul Aziz Al Sada", said the minister.
He pointed out that his ministry will announce the details following meetings with Qatari relevant officials.
