In a reception held by the U.S. Embassy in Amman on the 242nd anniversary of the U.S independence day, Wooster said he was confident of the strong partnership between the United States and Jordan "due to the solid foundation we have built together", referring to the meeting between His Majesty King Abdullah II and US President Donald Trump last week in Washington. During the ceremony, which was attended by a number of princes, officials, dignitaries, deputies, diplomats, journalists, Wooster reviewed the joint work of the two governments and peoples and the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States.
