Rise in temperatures forecast Thursday, relatively hot over weekend

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in mercury levels is expected on Thursday, becoming 5-6 degrees above annual average and bringing hot conditions across many parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological department said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 37 degrees Celsius, and 35 in the northern cities, dropping down to 21 degrees at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 42 degrees and lows standing at 28,m the JMD added.
Mercury levels will again few degrees over the next two days creating relatively hot conditions in the capital, the Badia regions and the eastern plains, while it will remain hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and in Aqaba with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD noted.
