Unstable conditions continue until Wednesday, forecast to bring rain

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will remain under the impact of unstable weather conditions on Monday, pushing down temperatures and bringing early morning rain accompanied with thunder in most areas, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Heavy rainfall is also expected in the afternoon, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, blowing dust in the southern and eastern areas, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 33 degrees Celsius and 30 in the northern cities, dropping down to 21 and 20 respectively, while ranging in the southern parts between a high of 28 and a low of 18. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 37 degrees and lows standing at 27, the JMD added.
A further in mercury levels is forecast on Wednesday, creating moderate conditions in the hilly areas, the plains and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with clouds at various altitudes and scattered showers, mainly in the eastern and southern cities.
Winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate to brisk at times blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD noted.
