Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Officials from Mecca confirmed to local media that a mobile crane collapsed on Sunday in an area that was designated for construction works and not for worshippers.

A tweet from Al Ekhbariya television channel quoting Mecca officials said no injuries of worshippers were reported except for the driver of the crane who sustained minor injuries.

Photos of the mobile crane showed it had collapsed in a designated area under construction and not a public one.
