Jerusalem mufti calls for protests against U.S. embassy relocation

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, Sunday said in a statement that all Israeli measures in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially Jerusalem are null and void, and called on the Palestinians to stand against these measures.

"The main goal behind these Israeli extremist and racist measures against our people is to a new reality in occupied Jerusalem," Sheikh Hussein said, emphasizing that the Palestinian people will not allow Israel to achieve its goals.

He called upon all components of the Palestinian people to participate in peaceful demonstrations against the relocation of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and against the extremist Israeli measures. The Mufti also called for commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Nakba.

"Palestinians must continue protesting peacefully to the entire world and the Israeli occupation how civilized they are and that they will not concede their legitimate rights.
