Egypt acquits a four-year-old boy of kissing his classmate in nursery

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - An Egyptian juvenile court acquitted a four-year-old boy, accused of kissing a girl classmate in nursery school, in the Beheira Governorate, north of Egypt.

The child who was proclaimed innocent by the juvenile court which acquitted the boy after the girl’s father had initiated the legal proceeding, accusing the boy of kissing his daughter.

Mohammed Hamadeh, the lawyer of the accused child, said that the prosecutor had referred the case to the court of misdemeanors and the court ruled that it had no jurisdiction and referred it to the Juvenile Court, which acquitted the child, proclaiming that the accusation is a machination and a fabrication and the occurrence of the incident was ruled unreasonable.

Earlier, Major General Alaa Eddin Abdel Fattah, director of the Beheira security department, received a notification from the Hosh Essa police station that the father of four-year-old girl M.S accused her classmate in the nursery called M.M also aged four years of kissing her. The incident occurred on December 6, 2017.
