Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Economic Affairs Jafar Hassan said that stimulating economic growth in Jerash Governorate needs full cooperation with citizens of the governorate due to the competitive environment and investment opportunities in the area.
Chairing a meeting for the government's economic team with Jerash MPs, senators, Jerash mayor and other officials, the minister stressed need to focus on the policy of employing young people through projects of economic feasibility.
He affirmed the importance of taking into account the competitive advantage in the governorate in the sectors of agriculture, tourism, productivity and crafts.
Hassan pointed to a package of programs that began this year in Jerash, including developing the public transport, the industrial estate, knowledge stations in addition to industrial and agricultural projects.
During the meeting, the ministers of industry, trade and supply, labor, environment, transport, public works and housing, information and communications technology and state for investment affairs, tourism and antiquities and agriculture, plans and programs that will be implemented by their ministries in the governorate.
