Warmer days, cold nights lie ahead

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold weather is excepted Wednesday in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be mild in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea as temperatures become around their annual average with northwesterly moderate winds.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 10 degrees Celsius dropping down to 3 and 2 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 20 degrees and lows standing at 11, the JMD added.

Mercury levels will keep rising over the next two days, becoming 2-3 degrees above their seasonal average, but similar conditions will continue to prevail with southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
