Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi on Monday continued his talks with a number of his counterparts to discuss ways of dealing with the repercussions of the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and relocate its embassy to the holy city, and to limit the negative fallouts of the rejected and condemned decision as it violates international legitimacy resolutions.

The contacts were made with High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, and Foreign Ministers of Britain, Boris Johnson, Germany's Sigmar Gabriel and Japan's Taro Kono.

In his contacts, Safadi discussed finding a political solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of a two-state solution that guarantees the establishment of a Palestinian state with occupied Jerusalem as its capital on 1967 lines, and the Arab initiative.
