Cloudy skies with showers forecast until Tuesday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in mercury levels is expected on Monday, with partly cloudy skies and a chance for scattered showers in the northern areas, extending to the central parts of the Kingdom.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be westerly moderate to brisk blowing dust, especially in the Badia regions.

Temperatures will slightly rise on Tuesday, but similar weather conditions will continue with westerly moderate winds, the department said.

Pleasant weather conditions will prevail on Wednesday in the hilly areas, while it will be moderate in the Badia regions and relatively warm in Aqaba and the Jordan Valley with low clouds in the northern and central areas, the JMD added.

Temperatures today in Amman and the northern governorates will reach a high of 23 degrees Celsius and a low of 13 degrees in the capital, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 31 degrees dropping down to 19 at night, the JMD further said.
