Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The German Embassy in Amman on Wednesday delivered medical equipment to national and Syrian NGOs, as well as other agencies affiliated with the World Health Organization (WHO).
The medical supplies, valued at JD360,000, were presented by the German Ambassador to Jordan Birgitta Siefker-Eberle, to the Caritas Jordan, WHO, and two Syrian NGOs; the Syrian-American Medical Center and the Union of Syrian Medical Relief Organizations.
The envoy referred to cooperation with Caritas Jordan, as a partner in the German humanitarian aid, to expand its programs to Jordanians and Syrian refugees.
Director of Caritas Jordan Wael Suleiman, appreciated the assistance extended by Germany to his agency which was originally established in Germany 50 years ago, noting that Caritas always "views humanitarian action as a message not a work."
