Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The 2nd Gulf- Jordanian Economic Forum which is organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council will kick off in Amman on Thursday.
The forum will discuss means to forge closer trade and investment relations between the two sides and further boost trade ties at the private sector level .
The forum includes sessions on economic integration, reconstruction and, role of business entrepreneurs as well as investment opportunities in Jordan and Gulf states.
Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Kabariti, said in a press statement that Jordan is keen to strengthen economic ties with Arab Gulf states, promote investment opportunities in the Kingdom and open new markets for Jordanian products.
Jordan's exports to GCC countries stood at JD455 million in the first 5 months of this year while imports amounted to JD1.11 billion.
