Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Speaker of the Lower House, Atif Tarawneh Tuesday discussed with Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Josette Durrieu, relations between the House and PACE, as well as issues of common concern.

During the meeting, Tarawneh reviewed reforms carried out by Jordan in various political and socio-economic fields.

He also pointed out that the legislature had completed legislation related to family, children and women protection.

The House chief noted Jordan's effort, led by His Majesty King Abdullah, towards regional issues and their repercussions on the Kingdom.

The meeting also dealt with a number of topics, including the youth participation in political parties.
