Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Thursday, chaired a joint meeting for the ministerial economic team and the Economic Policy Council.

The meeting tackled important measures, plans and policies that will be taken to support economic sectors, and stimulate growth in them with a view to overcoming economic hardships and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy.

Mulki also called for another meeting for the ministerial economic team and the Economic Policy Council on Monday to continue discussing these measures and adopt them as a program and a national document for the next five years.

These measures that aim at stimulating economic growth will be binding for the government and all concerned bodies.

The prime minister instructed the ministries and concerned departments to reconsider policies related to promoting tourism, industry, agriculture and transport to achieve the targeted growth in these sectors.
