Emir of Qatar : calls for a free access of humanitarian aid across all Syrian

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, called on the international community to reject the establishment of an apartheid regime and to deal firmly with Israel.

Al-Thani welcomed the announcement of the ceasefire in Syria and considered it as a move forward towards a political solution. He stressed the need to force the Syrian regime to implement the UN Security Council's resolution which calls for a free access of humanitarian aid across all Syrian territories.

On Libya, Al-Thani called for intensified efforts to urge all parties to overcome their differences, in order to implement Sukhairat declaration, voicing his country's support for Libya to achieve a political settlement in the country.

On Yemen, He reiterated Qatar's support for legitimacy and for the special envoy in Yemen based on Gulf Initiative, outputs of the National Dialogue Conference and resolutions of the international legitimacy.
