Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures will slightly rise on Sunday reaching around 18 degrees in most regions, but the Kingdom continues to be under the grip of cold conditions and hazy sunshine.

Chilly night will also be observed as mercury levels to 8 degrees in the capital and the northern regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief said.

Nicer conditions are forecast in the port city of Aqaba with daytime temperatures standing at 29 degrees Celsius and sliding to 15 at night.

According to the JMD, cold days and chilly nights will remain on Monday and Tuesday in most parts of the country as temperatures slightly mainly in the southern and desert regions.

Over the next couple of days, occasional light showers are also expected mainly in the northern parts with gust of winds stirring dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD said.
