Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Speaker of the Lower House, Atif Tarawneh, Tuesday sent a letter to Prime Minister, Hani al-Milki, asking him to provide the legislature with the gas agreement signed between the government-owned National Electric Power Company and the Noble Energy Company.
Tarawneh said In a statement Tuesday that the House had not received any requests to hold a debate over the gas deal, and that it was not on the agenda of the legislature today.
He said he had requested that the agreement be sent to the House in a memo he had sent to the premier.
On Sunday, 17 deputies asked al-Mulki to provide them with the agreement.
