Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani al-Mulqi, on Monday, met with Chairman of the Saudi Arabia-based Aqua Power Corporation, Mohammad Abunayyan, in the presence of Minster of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ibrahim Saif and Minister of Finance, Omar Malhas.

Al-Mulqi said his government will support investments that would achieve energy supply security and remove any obstacles if there were any.

Abunayyan said that Jordan was the first investment destination the company thought of when it planned for expanding outside Saudi Arabia in 2010, noting that Jordan has an attractive investment environment and qualified human resources.

Abunayyan reviewed the company's investments in Jordan in area of power generation and highlighted future plans and projects.

He also spoke about his company's expertise in water desalination, voicing desire to implement ventures in the domain in Jordan.
