Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday, but it will continue to be cold in most parts of the Kingdom, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), temperatures will further at night, forming sleet and frost in most parts of the country with northwesterly light winds.
Daytime temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 15 degrees Celsius and a low of 2 , in the southern regions they will register 13 degrees during the day, dipping to zero degree at night. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba are forecast to go up to 25 degrees, sliding to 11 at night, the JMD explained.
Similar cold conditions are expected to prevail Tuesday and Wednesday in the mountainous areas, while it will be relatively warm in other parts of the country.
As of Wednesday night, unstable weather conditions are forecast to start affecting the Kingdom, bringing cloudy skies with scattered showers in different regions.
Heavy rain accompanied with hail, thunder and lightning are also forecast Wednesday with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds blowing dust at times, the JMD added.
