Al-Safadi and French Foreign Minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault, discussed efforts to break the deadlock in peacemaking and re-launch Palestinian-Israeli negotiations. Al-Safadi also met with UN Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura for a discussion on the Syrian crisis and the importance of the Astana meetings.
