Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Independent Election Commission's (IEC) board of commissioners set August 15 as the date for the municipal and governorate council elections in the Kingdom following the Cabinet's decision to hold these elections this year.

President of the IEC's board of commissioners Khlaed Kalaldeh said that the IEC was ready to manage and oversee all stages of the elections process and improve its performance in line with the best international standards of integrity and transparency in elections .
