Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani Al-Mulqi, on Wednesday, along with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, discussed bilateral ties, the latest developments in the Middle East region and preparations for the Arab summit which will be held in Amman next month.

Egypt is "a strategic depth for Jordan" and the Kingdom is keen to enhance ties with Cairo, in order to reach a level of integration between the two countries, said Al-Mulqi.

The meeting touched on the 28th session of the Arab summit, which will be held on March 29, 2017, as Mulqi expressed confidence that the summit will be a chance for reinvigorating joint Arab action and solidarity.

The premier said that changes, which are affecting the whole globe, require the Arab world to forge closer coordination for the benefit of the region and its peoples.

They also discussed a recent decision the government made to regulate the labor market. In this context, the prime minister said a two-month moratorium will be given to Egyptian workers in the Kingdom, who don't have work permits, to correct their status.
