Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani Mulki asked all ministries and public institutions to pool their resources for the success of the upcoming Arab summit, which the Kingdom will host in late March.
In a statement distributed to ministries and public entities, Mulki called for "collective efforts to reflect Jordan's bright image in terms of performance and organisation".
The prime minister had earlier decided to form a higher committee, which he chairs and comprises ministers and officials from various state entities, tasked with taking decisions regarding the summit's holding and passing them over to the competent agencies for implementation.
A media committee was also assigned to prepare for the summit, and a third panel was tasked with protocol and logistical matters.
His Majesty King Abdullah had issued directives to host the Arab League’s 28th session after Yemen apologised for not being able to host the summit.
