Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Islamic Action Front (IAF) announced Saturday that it will participate in upcoming municipal elections in the Kingdom, and announced it is studying candidates and the kind of partnerships it will forge with other parties.
IAF Secretary General Mohammad Zyoud told a press conference that the political party would not run in the polls alone, or dominate the electoral scene by itself, but would rather have partners.
He said the IAF had named a higher electoral committee, led by Muarad Adaileh, who said the panel is currently mulling the candidates it will field and the shape of alliances it will reach with its partners, stressing that the party's hand is extended to all other parties in the forthcoming polls.
Zyoud said the IAF will be participating in the local elections out of a sense of duty and national responsibility.
