King invites Bahrain monarch to Arab summit

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain Wednesday, received Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Nasser Judeh, who handed him an invitation from His Majesty King Abdullah II to the upcoming Arab summit due to be held in Amman in late March.

The minister conveyed King Abdullah's wishes to King Hamad and the people of Bahrain and said the His Majesty the King looked forward to king Hamad's participation in the summit, which will have a great influence on its success.

Judeh described as "historic" the relations between Jordan and Bahrain and their leaderships, saying the two countries see eye-to-eye on various issues and challenges in the region and the world, particularly in fighting terrorism and solidifying the cooperation between the two counties in the various .

Bahrain's King voiced his appreciation to King Abdullah and extended his condolences over the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in southern Jordan, calling for concreted efforts to fight terrorism.
