Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold conditions are expected to remain on Tuesday as temperatures remain around their annual average; therefore cloudy skies will prevail with a chance for scattered showers across the Kingdom .
A cold air mass accompanied by a depression, centered over Cyprus, is forecast to start gradually affecting the country on Wednesday bringing rain across the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Winds will be southwesterly brisk, blowing dust in the eastern and southern areas, the JMD explained.
The country will remain under the impact of the cold air mass and the depression on Thursday, the JMD said, adding that the impact of the combined weather conditions will cause temperatures to and bring rain on different parts of the country.
Winds will be southwesterly brisk with strong gust and stirring dust at times.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in the capital, southern and northern areas will reach a high of 18 degrees Celsius dropping to 6 at night , while in Aqaba they will register a high of 28 degrees and a low of 16 at night.
