Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Activities of the Jordanian cultural days kicked off in Sfax on the occasion of choosing the city as the capital of Arab culture.
The Jordanian cultural days will continue until November 21.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, head of the Jordanian delegation and director general of the Royal Cultural Center Mohammed Abu Summaqa, spoke about the deep ties between the two Arab nations. He also reiterated the role of culture in fighting terrorism, violence and extremism, by implementing awareness and educational programs targeting the youths.
The five-day event will include an photo exhibition, a traditional fashion and other activities.
