Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordanian and Egyptian forces continue a several-day military exercise in the southern port city of Aqaba. The drill includes realistic simulation of operations designed to address challenges similar to those facing the region.

The drill also saw elite units from both armies using light, medium and heavy weapons and conduct counterterror measures. It also includes naval operations such as combat diving and conducting tactical assault missions.

The exercise aims at exchanging expertise and cementing military cooperation between the two countries to support stability in the region.
