Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh on Thursday, met with Indian Minister of State for External Affairs M.J. Akbar, who is currently visiting Jordan within a regional tour.
Tarawneh, stressed Jordan's keenness, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to forge closer cooperation with India in various domains, especially after Indian President Pranab Mukherjee's visit to Jordan last year, during which he held talks with His Majesty, and a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between Jordan and India.
He also reviewed Jordan's stance on regional and international issues as well as the King's efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region and the world.
The Indian minister voiced pride in his country's relations with Jordan, and praised the Kingdom's efforts to host Syrian refugees and provide them with humanitarian and relief services.
