Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani al-Mulki, on Tuesday, said Jordan is strong and capable of countering terrorists and extremists, emphasizing that Jordanians' vigilance and unity would thwart any attempt to tamper with the nation's security and stability.
Recalling the 11th anniversary of the terrorist bombings that that target three Amman hotels and killed more than 60 innocent people in 2005, Al-Mulki stressed that all Jordanians will always stand united against "the forces of evil, extremism and Khawarij if they try to tamper with Jordan's security and safety."
He noted that Jordan continues to protect its society and maintain its national unity under difficult circumstances, adding that terrorists' heinous crimes have made Jordanians stronger and more determined to save their country's security and stability.
The premier paid tribute to the martyrs, who died in the Amman bombings, and military and security personnel who fell in two terrorist attacks during the month of Ramadan, stressing that those martyrs will remain in the memory of the nation.
