King meets with Arab League chief

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II stressed that Jordan will exert all efforts to ensure the success of the 28th Arab League Summit, which will be held in Amman, and achieve a common Arab vision to confront crises facing the Middle East region.

His Majesty made remarks as he met at Al Husseiniya Palace on Wednesday, Arab League Secretary General, Ahmad Aboul Gheit, who is currently visiting the Kingdom.

The meeting dealt with a wide range of issues including Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya.

Aboul Gheit voiced appreciations for Jordan's stances towards various Arab issues under the leadership of His Majesty.

The meeting was attended by the Royal Court chief, the foreign minister and the King's office director.
