Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian and Egyptian armies will conduct "Aqaba 2016" joint military drill at the Jordan Armed Forces/Arab Army (JAF) military fields .
A military source said that the drill will kick off Saturday November 5 and continue until Friday the 25th of the same month.
The exercise aims at boosting military cooperation between the armies of the two countries, including training and planning, in order to be ready for any joint current and future missions to support stability and security in the region.
Aqaba 2016 drill will be carried out at JAF's military training fields with the participation of elite units from the two armies, the source explained.
