Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Governor General of Canada David Johnston on Monday, visited the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) where he was briefed on its expertise and vision to improve the quality of education in Jordan and the Arab world.
The academy's CEO Haif Banayyan spoke about the vision of the academy that has trained more that 32,000 Jordanian and Arab teachers over the past six years as well as the progress it has achieved, mainly with regard to a program to enhance the Professional Development of Teacher project, which is funded by the Canadian government.
The projects, which started in 2015 and continues until 2019, aims to develop the quality of education in the Kingdom's public schools until the 10th grade.
