Hattar murder case referred to State Security Court

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - State Security Court prosecutor general Brig. Ziyad Adwan Saturday ordered the murder case of writer Nahed Hattar to be referred to the court to start the trial proceedings.

Adwan told Petra in a statement that the prime suspect was charged with three counts of committing terrorism that resulted in a murder in breach of articles 3 and 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, terrorism intended to foment sedition, and premeditated murder in violation of article 328 of the Penal Code.

Adwan said two other suspects had also been referred to the State Security Court, one is a weapons dealer and the other an intermediary.
