Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures over the next two days will remain around their annual average; therefore normal summer conditions will continue to prevail in the hilly areas, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk with clouds at low altitudes.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday to become 2-3 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefor, relatively hot conditions are forecast to prevail in the hilly areas, while it will be hot in the desert regions and the eastern plain and extremely hot in the Jordan Valley and the Gulf of Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 32 degrees Celsius dropping down to 21 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 41, plunging to 29 at night, the JMD further added.
