Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordanian and Indonesian trade officials met on Monday to discuss scopes of improving economic engagement and forge a new phase of ties among private sector institutions in both countries.
President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Kabariti, said he was enthusiastic that the two countries would step up investment and activate already signed agreements at the level of industry and trade chambers.
"The Jordanian private sector is keen to establish deep ties with their global peers to advance the national economy and enhance the business environment", remarked Kabariti.
He pointed to the "brotherly" political ties between Jordan and Indonesia, but said economic relations should move at a faster pace.
Kabariti called on the business community in the Islamic nation to benefit from Jordan's business environment and join forces to carry out new ventures.
The Indonesian delegation said they were interested to get acquainted with the incentives Jordan offers and to communicate with businessmen in the Kingdom to explore joint ventures and share experience in research, development and knowledge transfer.
