Tarawneh said that the Karamah shelter, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Social Development, underwent rehabilitation work to house human trafficking victims in Jordan, noting that a new national plan has been set up to prevent human trafficking. "The Anti- Human Trafficking Unit held 8 workshops on fighting this phenomenon in cooperation with government and non-government organizations in addition to 42 awareness lectures by specialists at universities and schools on human trafficking and its impact negative impact on the society," he added.
