Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Arab League's Economic and Social Council convened here on Friday to discuss the economic and social file of the Arab Summit meeting, which will be held in Mauritania next Monday.
Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Jawad Anani told Petra that today's meeting discussed key decisions that would be presented to the Arab leaders during their upcoming summit. He added that Jordan backs any joint Arab action.
The meeting, he added, will also discuss issues related to supporting small and medium funds to help it provide funding to the youth, as well as women-related issues.
Anani also stressed that efforts are being exerted to support Jordan's nomination for the position of Arab Atomic Energy Authority chief.
