Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Cabinet discussed during its session on Sunday which was chaired by Prime Minister Hani Mulki, the consequences of Britain's withdrawal from the European Union.
The Cabinet requested Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Jawad Anani to prepare a comprehensive paper on this issue, and the expected impact of Britain's withdrawal from the EU, especially that Jordan has strong ties with Britain whether at the bilateral level or through the EU.
It called for a speedy agreement on facilitating the rules of origin with the EU as this would help the Kingdom increase its exports to the European market and attract investments.
The Cabinet also called for discussing means to continue the implementation of agreements with Britain even after its withdrawal from the EU.
