The incident on Wednesday night happened at the Sarona Market, an area with restaurants and cafes. At least six others were injured in the shooting. Police initially said there was only one attacker, but spokeswoman Meirav Lapidot said there were two gunmen who carried out what appeared to be "a terrorist attack". Lapidot said that both were shot, with one of them being injured. She was was unable to say whether the second assailant was dead or alive. *Agencies

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Three people have been killed and several others injured in a shooting near Israel's defence ministry and main army headquarters in Tel Aviv, police and hospital sources say.

The incident on Wednesday night happened at the Sarona Market, an area with restaurants and cafes.

At least six others were injured in the shooting.

Police initially said there was only one attacker, but spokeswoman Meirav Lapidot said there were two gunmen who carried out what appeared to be "a terrorist attack".

Lapidot said that both were shot, with one of them being injured. She was was unable to say whether the second assailant was dead or alive.
