Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesman, Mohammed Al Momani announced that the General Intelligence office in the Baqa'a camp was attacked by a number of terrorists Monday morning at around 7:00 am.

Al Momani said that such attack in the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, is a clear evidence of those terrorists' criminal behavior and extremism.

The terrorist attack left five of the General Intelligence personnel dead including the sentry, operator and three noncommissioned officers from the office guards, he added.

The minister stressed that an intensive investigation into the attack is underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.

All Jordanians stand as one against any attempts that target the Kingdom's security and stability, Al Momani said, adding that that such criminal acts will only make them stronger and more solid in the face of all evil forces.

The martyrs according to a security source are: Staff Sergeant Louay Mohammed Faraj Zyoud.

Corporal Omar Ahmed Al Falih Hiari.

Lance Corporal Ahmed Abdel Karim Mohammed Harahsheh.
