Jordan condemns attack in Yemen's Mukalla

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan on Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a police compound in the southern Yemeni city of Mukalla, which killed dozens of innocent civilians and left scores injured.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesperson, Mohammad Momani, reiterated Jordan's position which denounces all forms of violence and terrorism.

While condoling the Yemeni government, people and families of the victims, Momani also voiced Jordan's solidarity with Yemen in confronting terrorism and violence that targeted the country's security and stability. He also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

A suicide bomber detonated his explosives among policemen standing in line outside a police base, killing 27 and wounding 54 others, in an attack claimed by the Daesh terrorist group.
